Yet when she found it difficult to forget Mr. Guieb is a 17-year-veteran of the Overland Park Police Department. “He’s been trying to keep his house and property up, but he’s just physically not able to do the things he needs to do,” Guieb said. What she discovered was a 79-year-old widow in desperate need of help. It can be difficult to even see Dale Urich’s home through all the weed and brush surrounding it.
